Psiphon is an open source tool designed to circumvent the censorship suffered by millions of Internet users in all those countries where freedom of expression is a right that is conspicuous by its absence. With Psiphon you will turn your computer into a proxy server to which the user or users to whom we want to give access will connect. A secure and encrypted connection is established between the Psiphon server and the client, which cannot be intercepted.
Thus, if you have a friend or an acquaintance who cannot see a certain page, because it has been banned in their country or because their connection fails, send them the address of the Psiphon server and give them access to the Internet. In addition, it is possible to choose between different types of masquerading, either through a virtual VPN tunnel or by resorting to proxy modification over an SSH connection.
Psiphon allows you to establish different user accounts, all of them protected with passwords, with which to give access to whoever you want. Once we start it, it will remain running in the background and we can access its small control panel at all times through the notification bar on our desktop in Windows.
