Yuzu is a Nintendo Switch emulator for Windows developed by the creators of Citra (the most popular Nintendo 3DS emulator). The emulator is written in C ++ with the idea that it is easily ‘portable’ to other operating systems, and it is also open source.
Yuzu’s recommended requirements are quite high: Intel Core i5-8600K processor and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB graphics card. These specifications, however, are recommended to be able to play 3D games fluently. The minimum requirements, oriented to 2D games, are much more accessible: Intel Core i3-6100 and NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030.
Before we can play a Nintendo Switch game, we will need to take a look at the quick start guide, which we can consult directly on the official Yuzu website. Once we follow all the steps (which are not few), we can comfortably start playing a good number of Nintendo Switch games on our PC. The list of games that work perfectly or quite does not stop growing, although we can consult it in detail on the official website.
Yuzu is the most mature, powerful and relatively easy-to-use Nintendo Switch emulator, thanks to which we can enjoy some of the best Nintendo Switch titles on our Windows computer.
